From the Chef:

This recipe yields a ½ gallon of spiced apple cider for a reason! It is so yummy and can be enjoyed in so many ways! For a cold refreshing beverage, top it with sparkling water. It’s also delicious served warm, either on its own or with a splash of dark rum 🙂

From the Doc:

To avoid hangovers make sure to drink plenty of water (before, during, and after) enjoying your adult beverage. Also, try to eat a balanced meal beforehand consisting of fat, fiber, and protein. Sometimes, the worst part of your hangover is really from the resulting drop of blood sugar (hello headaches, hunger and irritability) that happens after a night of drinking!
